Use automatic detection when the authorized overlay is clearly separated from the image beneath it. Use Brush when the mark is small, transparent, irregular, or close to an important edge that must be preserved.

Removal quality depends on how much surrounding texture the model can use to reconstruct the selected area. Clean skies and simple surfaces are easier than faces, product labels, detailed patterns, or text-heavy backgrounds.

  • Keep the brush mask close to the overlay instead of covering a large area.
  • Zoom in around hair, product edges, patterns, and typography.
  • Use only images you own or have explicit permission to edit.
